Technical Architectural Planning Supervisor
We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced candidate to join our team as Technical Architectural Planning Supervisor for multiple high-end hospitality and residential projects in various countries.

The Technical Architectural Planning Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of architectural planning and design for hospitality projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements, as well as supervising drafting and documentation processes to guarantee accuracy and efficiency. Providing guidance and support to clients and team members is also part of the role.
This position is fully remote, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere while contributing to exciting projects across Europe and further afield. The role requires a strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and regulations, as well as exceptional communication and collaboration skills. Preferences will be given to candidates based in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Technical Oversight: Supervise the technical aspects of architectural planning and design for hospitality projects, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Project Oversight: Collaborate with internal teams, including architects and designers, define and control specifications that integrate architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing requirements to meet client objectives and project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of architectural drawings, plans, and documentation, to identify potential issues and ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality throughout the design process.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges related to architectural planning and design, proactively addressing issues to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for clients regarding technical and engineering matters, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Technology Integration: Stay abreast of advancements in building methods and materials, as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering tools and techniques, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in architectural planning and design processes.
You
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, and/or work experience in related fields
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural planning and design, with a focus on hospitality projects
- Professional licensure as an Architect or Engineer preferred
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards, particularly related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as Auto/ArchiCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to deal independently and proactively with investors, hotel operators, architects, and site-contractors
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in both English and German preferred

Your Assignment
- Take responsibility for the overall management of projects
- You will develop our existing clients and support the acquisition of new clients.
- You will accompany the entire project development with the customer, supporting our creatives with calculations and presentations.
- Prepare detailed proposals and keep track of the budget
- Take a leading role in new sourcing approaches and supplier negotiations
- You will be responsible for the budget, definition and achievement of revenues and profit targets.
- Ensure monthly reporting and project costing
- Work continuously to improve and optimize our processes
